Procedure

Take a bowl and add maida, salt and ghee.
Give it a good mix and make a dough out of it.
Boil your pasta
Roll the dough into small circles
Cut the circles into half and form a cone shape
Take a pan and make a simple pasta using pasta sauce.
Fill in the pasta that you have made and close the dough
Form and triangular shape
Fry it in the oil and your pasta samosa is done

Procedure

Blend a few beetroot pieces and water. Make a thick puree of it.
Beetroot cut into pieces

Suji Twister

Being an ideal tea-time snack, Suji Twister is made using Vijay Foods Bombay Sooji and dry spices and has a twisted appearance with savory taste and flavor.

Ingredients

2 Cup of Vijay Gold Bombay Suji
Pinch of Salt
Black pepper ½ tsp
½ kettle Warm water
400ml oil for fry

Procedure

Grindn the Vijay Bombay Suji nicely in the mixer for few minutes
Now in a bowl add salt, blackpepper, kasuri methi , 1tsp oil. mix well
Now add Warm water and kneed a tight dough
Rest the dough for 10 minutes
Now with a help of a fork Give it a shape as per shown in the video
Fry it well. Enjoy with Tea or coffee.

Tips for Cooking

Deep Fry the dough to have it crispy
You can store it for 1 week in a air tight jar.

Falafel Waffle

Made using Vijay Foods Besan, gluten-free, flavourful and amazingly tasty Falafel waffle gives a healthy and delicious twist to the classic deep-fried falafels.

Ingredients

2 cups of cooked chickpeas
1 cup of Vijay Gold Besan/ gram flour
1/2 finely chopped onion
1/2 carrot grated
3 cloves of garlic
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
A bunch of coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tsp of black pepper powder
1 tsp of Red chili powder
1 tsp of Coriander Powder
2 tbsp of lemon juice
1 tsp of baking powder

Procedure

To prepare the falafel batter blend chickpeas, onions, garlic, cumin seeds to get a smooth batter
Add besan, all the spices, baking powder and coriander leaves. Let it rest for 1 hour.
Now preheat the waffle maker, grease it with oil, pour batter in each cavity.
Cook for 15- 20 minutes or till they turn crispy and golden brown from edges.
Serve these falafel waffles with a generous drizzle of hummus and veggies salad. Enjoy!

Tips for Cooking

Garnish the waffle with the sauce and chopped mint or parsley.
Cook the waffles extra 2 Mins if they are not crispy enough

2 Cup of Vijay Gold Rice Flour
1 Cup of Corn Flour

Procedure

Ingredients

1 cup Boiled Potato
1cup Processed Cheese
1cup Mozzarella cheese
1/2 tbsp Pepper
Salt for taste
1 tbsp Chaat Masala
1cup of Vijay Gold Akkitari
Mixed Herbs – 1tbsp
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp Corn flour
1 cup Bread Crumbs

Procedure

Mix boiled potatoes, processed cheese, mozzarella cheese, pepper, herbs and salt.
Cook Akki Tari in 2 cups of water. Add salt. Cook in low flame till you get thick form of dough.
Knead the dough well and make balls.
Add stuffing by flattening balls. Coat the balls with mixture of corn flour and water.
Then coat with bread crumbs for extra crispy texture.
Fry the balls in medium flame till golden brown.
Your tasty crispy cheese balls are ready!!

Chicken Stuffed Steamed Buns

Chicken Stuffed Steamed Buns

Soft steamed buns filled with juicy & flavorful stuffing of chicken pieces, Garlic & Ginger, made with Vijay Gold Maida, taste great with sauce or on their own.

Ingredients

For Steamed Buns

2 cups of Vijay Gold Maida
1/3 cup warm water
½ cup warm milk
2 tsp sugar
1 tablespoon dry active yeast
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
2 ½ tablespoon oil
Pinch of salt

For Chicken Stuffing

100 gms boneless chicken pieces
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
2 chopped green chilies
1 medium chopped onion
1 tablespoon black pepper powder
Salt to taste
1.5 tsp Soya Sauce
2 tsp Oyster Sauce
2 tsp Red Chili Sauce
¼ cup chopped spring onion greens
2 tsp corn flour slurry (1 tsp corn flour mixed with 2 tsp water)
2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
2-3 tsp oil

Procedure

In a mixing bowl, add warm milk, warm water, sugar, mix it well, add the dry active yeast, give it a nice stir. Cover and keep it aside for 10-15 mins for activation of the yeast.
In a large mixing bowl, add Vijay Gold Maida, baking powder, baking soda, pinch of salt. Mix everything well.
Add he activated yeast mixture, little by little, and knead it to a soft smooth dough. Add 2 tsp of oil and again knead the dough for about 10-15 minutes.
Grease the dough with little oil, cover and rest the dough for around 2 hours.
Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped ginger, garlic & green chilies. Sauté it for 2-3 minutes.
Add the boneless chicken cut into small pieces, cook it on a high flame for about 4-5 minutes.
Add the chopped onions and cook it for another 3-4 minutes.
Add black pepper powder and salt, mix it well.
Add soya sauce, oyster sauce and red chili sauce, give everything a nice mix for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the spring onion greens, mix it well.
Add the corn flour slurry, cook it for 1-2 minutes.
Lastly add some chopped coriander leaves, give everything a nice mix and the chicken stuffing is ready.
Divide the dough into equal parts, tuck and knead each of dough ball.
After 2 hours, the dough will be double in size, slightly punch the dough, knead it for another 2-3 minutes.
Take one dough ball, sprinkle some maida on a rolling board if needed, roll the dough into small circle, put 1 tablespoon of the stuffing and seal the dough from all the sides and make a ball out of it. Repeat the same for all the dough balls.
Cover and steam it on a medium flame for about 10-12 minutes and your Chicken Stuffed Steam Buns are ready to be served.
Place the stuffed buns at some distance.
Boil some water in a steamer, line the plate in which the buns are to be steamed with parchment paper, grease it well with some oil.
Cover and rest the dough balls, for about 30 minutes.

Tips for Cooking

Rest the dough for minimum 1 to 1.5 hour.make the Falooda.
Knead the dough initially for at least 10-15 minutes.

Nan Pizza topped with Paneer

NAN PIZZA TOPPED WITH PANEER

Make your pizza nights tastier with this special Nan Pizza or Nan Bread topped with Besan Paneer Ghee Roast & made using Vijay Gold Besan and Vijay Gold Maida.

Ingredients

To make spicy red paste

1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
5-6 dried kashmiri red chillies
1 tbsp fennel seed
4-5 garlic cloves
1 inch ginger piece
Water to grinding spices
Water to grinding spices

For the Besan paneer ghee roast

Paneer 250 gm
1 small cup chopped Onion
2 tbsp Vijay gold besan
Ghee 2bsp (for roasting paneer)
Ghee 2tbsp (for dry gravy)
½ cup curd
Coriander leaves for garnishing

For Naan

2 cups of Vijay Gold All purpose flour
Salt according to taste
1tbsp sugar
2 tbsp curd
½ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp ghee
½ cup Milk to kneed a soft dough
2-3 tbsp of kalonji
Coriander leaves
Small cup of sliced Capsicum
Cheese for topping
1tbsp mix herbs

Procedure

Firstly in a large mixing bowl take all purpose flour.
Make a small hole in center and add salt according to taste, Baking powder, curd, Sugar and ghee.
Mix them all together and kneed a dough with the help of milk.
Grease this Dough with oil or ghee and cover it for 20min.
In a Pan add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds Dry red chillies roast it at low flame for 3-5 min.
In a grinder take these roasted spices and add ginger garlic and add some water to make a smooth paste.
Take paneer cut into cubes ,Wash and strain the Paneer Cubes get rid of the excess water.
In a pan add ghee and add paneer cubes Roast it at low flame and keep it aside.
In a Same pan add some ghee and add chopped onion until it becomes translucent.
Add Besan and roast it at low flame till it turns golden brown in color.
Add salt according to taste.
Next add spice mix into it and mix it well.
Add curd for normalize the spices.
Mix it well and add some water to adjust consistency
Cook it for 2-3min and next add roasted paneer into it.
Mix it gently so that paneer will coat with masala properly.
Garnish with coriander leaves. And your topping is ready.
Now take small portion of Dough and stretch it with your hands. Make small ball and dust some flour in your rolling board roll it .
Apply some butter and add kalonji and Coriander leaves and using rolling pin roll it once so that kalonji and Coriander leaves stick properly with Nan.
Apply some water on other side of Nan roast so that Nan should stick with tawa. Cook it for 2-3min both the side by applying some butter.
Next add topping of Besan paneer roast on the Nan and add some capsicum slices cheese and mix herbs .
Cover it for 1 min and Besan paneer ghee roast Nan Pizza is ready to serve.

Ingredients

For Dough:

1.5 cup Vijay Gold Maida
1tsp salt
1tsp baking soda
3 tsp curd
3 tsp oil
water to knead

For Filling

1 medium size onions
1 cup boiled peas
1/2 cup chopped beetroot
1 medium size carrot
1 medium size capsicum
1 tsp oregano powder
1/2 cup paneer
1-2 tbsp pizza sauce
1 tbsp mustard sauce
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
1/2 cup grated cheese

Procedure

Add flour, salt, baking soda and oil in a bowl
Mix with fingers until crumb like texture is formed. Add the water, half of the content at a time and mix until you form a smooth dough & leave them to rest for another 10 minutes before you proceed to cook them
Place the rolled dough on the pan and cook for about a minute, you will notice some bubbles on the surface, cook until slightly brown but not burnt.
Flip to the other side and cook for another 30 seconds. Take it off the heat
Cook the chopped veggies in the low flame, don’t overcook them so that they have slight crunch

Tips for Cooking

Add paneer & sauces once you switch off the flame as paneer turns hard if cooked & sauces may burn
Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth for 20 mins so that its surface is not dry
Place the tortillas in an airtight container. This stops them from drying and will keep warm till you are ready to use it.
